Virginia Roots, Race, and Discipleship - Shared with the Congregation of Vale UMC, this 3-week series will engage conversations about race and reconciliation in Virginia

Beginning Sunday, January 17 at 7PM and continuing for 3-weeks, the Virginia Roots, Race, and Discipleship curriculum is an opportunity to learn about racism in the Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. This series includes videos and interviews that acknowledge and help understand Virginia’s role in racial prejudice and discrimination as embedded in law, customs, and institutions, including even the Church. The pastors of Vale and CoF will serve as facilitators of this curriculum developed by the Virginia Conference.
