Children's Ministry

Our goal is to help our children become true disciples of Jesus Christ.

How Do We Reach Our Goal?

We build intentional relationships with them, are examples for them and teach them to love God, God's people and God's world.

Opportunities to Grow

Sunday morning "children's time" during worship at 10:30 am is followed by a one-room Sunday School class for preschool through fifth grade students.  A professionally staffed nursery is also open throughout Sunday morning for infants and toddlers.

Opportunities to Serve

Children are invited to serve and become an integral part of the faith community in many ways -- as an acolyte, reading the Scripture on the first Sunday of the month, serving through our Food Pantry, as a Greeter with their families.  You will soon discover that at Community of Faith, we believe that children are as much a part of our present as they are our future.

Opportunities to Have Fun

Throughout the year, the children's ministry offers a variety of opportunities for children to have fun with one another and build relationships with other children.  Some examples from previous years -- Children's Christmas Pageant, Winter Carnival, VBS, Rise Against Hunger, Advent Night, Easter Egg Hunt, Summer Popsicles & Playground Gatherings.

Safety

All our teachers are wonderful witnesses to Christian faith. In preparing for teaching and to ensure the safest environment, all children's ministry leaders have completed thorough background checks.

Children's ministry takes many forms. Sunday morning church school, family service events, vacation bible school, outings through the year are just some of the opportunities to build a deep foundation of faith.
