Sunday evening August 18 at 6:00 PM is an evening exploring the Bible and LGBTQI+ inclusion featuring Wesley Theological Seminary's Professor of Biblical Theology, Dr. Denise Dombkowski Hopkins. Come for dessert, a thoughtful presentation and deep conversation about the scriptures affirmation of all persons.
For many persons, their heart and head can be at odds. There’s a desire to be welcoming and a desire to be faithful to the scriptures. How do you reconcile the two? What does the scripture really say about the issues of LGBTQIA+ inclusion that the church wrestles with today? Come and listen and then dialogue with a scholar of the Hebrew Bible with Dr. Denise Dombkowski Hopkins on August 18. The evening begins with dessert at 6PM and program at 6:30 PM.
